Live elsewhere

If you were asked to spend a year living in a different location, where would you choose and why?

Santorini Greece

I will definitely choose Santorini, Greece. A year living in such a paradise… wow! I will explore the place and take photos of every nook and cranny of that gorgeous place!

Or I can also live for a year in Cyprus. Or in Italy! And in Spain as well! All the gorgeous places with those houses full of character and history…

I have always wanted to live in a tourist destination. In a place where just the view from the window will make my creative juices flow. I can imagine just sitting outside the house enjoying the sun, sipping a cup of coffee or tea, and writing my heart out!

Paradise!

Truly lonely

When was the last time I felt really, truly lonely?

I was reading this really great book about a woman who was in love with her older brother’s bestfriend for years and years. The guy felt the same way but since he’s afraid to hurt her and his friendship with the brother, he stayed away for as long as he could. Until they met in her brother’s wedding again.

They couldn’t avoid their feelings anymore and the guy finally professed his love for the girl.

You know after reading the book, I had a ridiculous grin on my face for hours. It was a good story and I really liked it. But it made me feel truly lonely when I was able to get over the giddy feeling it gave me. I wouldn’t have that same story. I think it’s too late for me to create something that wonderful in the love department of my life. I spent too much time thinking and guarding myself from pain because of what happened in the past that I may have erected a wall strong enough any man wouldn’t be able to break down.

3 more languages

I wish I can speak three more languages. I would love to learn how to speak Spanish, French and Italian. My parents and my dad’s family speak basic Spanish. They grew up talking that way because their grandmother taught them how to. It was too bad they didn’t teach us younger ones to do the same. It would have come in handy at work.

Back in college I tried to enroll in Spanish. But the college changed rules and didn’t allow us to cross-enroll in another college just for that subject. When I was already working, I tried to find an affordable Spanish class but I couldn’t afford it back then. I don’t know if it’s too late for me to try now but I still want to learn.

I feel the same way towards French and Italian. I wish I have the money and the time to learn all three.

Payday Friday!

Today is Payday Friday to most of us. Expect heavy traffic because a lot of people will surely indulge tonight! ;)

city life

And then there’s the rain to contend with. I read that a typhoon is coming to the country and it will bring in rainshowers and thunderstorms. Hopefully it won’t last long.

Happy Friday to all!

Here I am again.

So here I am again. Burnt out. Can’t stop thinking of vacation and a longer time to just kick back and relax.
But I have stuff to think of.
I have responsibilities.
I am also saving up so resting is truly not a top priority.

Still.

Tosilog

tosilog

I confess! I love tocino a lot! I know it’s bad for me to eat it regularly but I do. It just tastes so great! I know, I know, it’s MSG and all the bad preservatives making it taste great but who cares? I just love it!

Whenever I see tocino on the menu, I normally order it. I can eat tocino, sinangag (fried rice) and itlog (fried egg) [ToSiLog] every single day for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. I won’t get tired of it, I swear.

Health buffs out there must be screaming their lungs out for me to stop my tocino intake and take care of my body more.

Ha! Ha! Ha!

Once again…

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog!
