MYM – My Alma Mater

This is my alma mater, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart in Plaridel, Quezon City. This is the place where I spent my formative years. I finished grade and high school here.

I went to the school for Hazel’s Buwan ng Wika presentation. They did a dance number to the tune of Bahay Kubo. Whenever I get to visit the school, I feel nostalgic. There’s too many good memories that the school was able to bring into my life. The friends I still have right now are the friends I made while I was there. And the teachers I had were the best!

MYM – A trip to the Manila Ocean Park

I went to the Manila Ocean Park with my sister, Meng, and our little princess, Ninin. We went there last Friday, August 13th. It was our first time and we had fun watching different kinds of fishes swim in their uber big aquariums.

The photo above is of the aquanaut man who entertains the people in the tunnel.

I will post more photos of our trip to the Manila Ocean Park in my next entry.

MYM – Comfy hotel room

I have a thing for comfy-looking hotel rooms. It just makes me want to stay in and not go out for the duration of my stay. It might be because I come from a large family and the house is always in chaos. Junk everywhere and even when organized, it still feels stuffy. Or it might be that the house is always full of noise and I want some quiet time for myself.

Of course, I need the hotel room to be clean, most especially the bathroom.

What’s the best hotel you’ve stayed at or been to? For me I think it’s still Edsa Shangri-La Manila.

MYM: Yummy Cheesecake

This diner offers one of the yummiest cheesecakes I’ve ever tasted! Too bad I was not able to take a photo of the cheesecake. We ate it way too fast I think hehe

The place is called Everything Nice at the Camp John Hay in Baguio City. I would like to have a slice again. Soon.

MYM/RT/WW: A day with friends

Irish and Moraine are two former officemates. I became friends with them and have managed to keep in touch over the years. This is a photo of the three of us taken a while back. We met over lunch at T.G.I. Friday’s and then went to watch a movie after. It was a day of fun, laughter and lots of girl talk!

I plan to meet with them again. Soon. I miss working with both of them. A stressful day becomes light and fun with these two girls around.
