My new favorite singer is Corrinne May! I know I am a couple of years too late in discovering her. But I still would like to share with you how much I love this woman’s voice. She has the voice of an angel!
My sisters and I were in Fully Booked the other day when her album Beautiful Seed was being played. I really thought it was Sarah McLachlan‘s album that’s on so I asked one of the persons who assisted me there for the title of the song playing. I was told it’s City of Angels. I asked if it’s by Sarah McLachlan and I was told that it’s by Corrinne May. I thought it was Corinne Bailey Rae.
I did a search in Youtube and there was no City of Angels by Sarah McLachlan. Suggestions point to Corrinne May. I played the video and what do you know! It’s the very same artist singing while I was in Fully Booked! Can I just say that I played ALL her songs through her website CorrinneMay.com and I love ALL of it!

I said I wouldn’t buy new books until I finish at least half of the pile of unread books I already have. But when I see a glimpse of Fully Booked…

I got Hold Tight and Shakespeare’s Secret from a secondhand book kiosk at the lower ground level of SM North Edsa. The rest of the books I got from Fully Booked-The Block at the same mall. I have a discount/privilege card so I got 10% off the price of the books.
I still have two books that I asked to be ordered/transferred from another branch for me.
I am happy when surrounded by piles of books. I have a new pile at my side. Can’t wait to dive into these books!
I’ve been sick since last Wednesday. Sick. Again! 
The inspiration I wrote about turned to be a real one. I was able to churn out possibly 50 articles a day. And I am not kidding about it! I think it’s the reason why I got sick again. Too exhausted, mind and body. Very little sleep.
But it made me happy. If I wasn’t sick since Wednesday, I’d probably have churned out more.
I do hope by Monday I’d be off the sick wagon already.
